<Poem>

<Translation>
I am crossing far beyond the Gate of Jing,
Coming to travel in the state of Chu.
The mountains wind down into open, fiat countryside
And the river flows on into a great wilderness.
From the moon descends a mirror for heavenly spirits;
From the clouds there arise towers formed from the sea.
I still think fondly of the waters of my old home,
Carrying my boat along for thousands of miles.
